National Chairman of Labour Party,Chief Dan Nwanyanwu, yesterday gave an indication that he will be stepping down as National Chairman of the party and allow his successor to emerge during the party's convention scheduled for next month. Nwanyanwu has been holding the position since 2004 and has completed two terms. He was said to have stood by his decision to leave office which according to the source may not be unconnected with the defection of the Ondo State Governor Dr. Olusegun Mimiko who was his most trusted allies in the party of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
